The Team Leader shall:

1) Lead a team of four (4) Crisis Counselors.

2) Possess previous experience with disaster behavioral health work or behavioral health supervisory role for paraprofessional crisis counselors.

3) Possess knowledge of current local and statewide resources and assistance available to individuals and families impacted by COVID-19.

4) Possess a basic understanding of COVID-19 (i.e., clinical signs and symptoms, risk factors, diagnosis, transmission, infectious period, contact tracing, isolation, and quarantine and stay updated with the latest CDC and STATE COVID-19 guidelines.

5) Train, debrief, coordinate, and provide supervision for Crisis Counselors.

6) Conduct regular team meetings to assess activities, resolve identified problems, and assist Program Manager in monitoring and managing staff stress and fatigue.

7) Assist in triage and assessment process for community members who require traditional mental health or substance abuse treatment.

8) Assist in development of weekly virtual sessions hosted by Crisis Counselors.

9) Oversees the utilization of PROVIDER-designed digital applications to conduct CCP services.

10) Assists in the coordination of data collection activities and review of data form submissions for accuracy.

11) Use data to conduct ongoing needs assessments.

12) Review and ensure accurate and timely timesheet submissions by Crisis Counselors.

13) Provide Crisis Counseling services, as needed.
